KATHRYN + ANDREW

We met with Kathryn and Andrew for their engagement session at Garfield Park Conservatory in Chicago a few weeks ago. On the day of the session Chicago lived up to it’s nickname and we opted to stay inside for most of the shoot because it was so windy. Kathryn and Andrew braved the outdoors when we ventured to North Ave Beach for a few shots.

Kathryn is the sweetest and has the BEST smile. Her beauty is timeless and she is radiant, especially around her fiancé. Andrew kept her laughing and grinning the entire session and you can tell their relationship is built upon a deep friendship. We ended at Fairgrounds Coffee to warm up after being out in the cold and when we left David and I talked about how if we lived in the same city as these two we feel like we would be good friends 😊

Kathryn described Andrew perfectly when she spoke about how she knew he was the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with:

“Andrew is kind, loyal, generous, hilarious, and wise. I couldn't imagine life without him - he supports and encourages me in every season and is a consistent reminder of the faithful love of Christ!”

Andrew’s words were equally accurate:

“Kathryn is kind, loving, beautiful, compassionate, understanding, willing to entertain my ridiculous ideas, and a joy to be with. But apart from all of those things, I knew that she was the one during a particularly challenging season of my life - she was supportive, self-sacrificing, and vital to me making it through. I knew that there was no one else that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.”
