Q: We want you to be our photographer! How do we move forward?

A: It's pretty straightforward! First, fill out the contact form (you can find that here). Next, we'll send over our contract and an invoice for you to review. Once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid, we’ll be officially official! ☺️

Q: When will I receive my photos?

A: For engagement & family sessions, it’s typically a 2-4 week timeframe depending on the time of year and what’s in our editing queue. For weddings, it's a 6-8 week timeframe to receive all your images. Each image is edited and tweaked by Rachel with our signature editing style so that your entire gallery is cohesive and beautiful.


Q: How do we receive our pictures?

A: We deliver all images via a private online gallery. In the gallery you can share, download, and more! All the images are high resolution JPG files. You can post em on the ‘gram, share the wedding on Facebook, send the gallery to all your friends and family, etc.


Q: Do you travel?

A: Heck yeah we travel! Send us an email to let us know where you’re going or where you live and we'll give you more information and a travel quote! Our top bucket list includes Italy, South Africa, Hawaii and more!


Q: How many photos will we receive?

A: The amount of photos depends on a couple of things: how big the wedding is, how many details, how many events, how big the bridal party is, how many family members, etc. Typically it's about 75-100 photos per hour of coverage. So a 8 hour wedding can expect between 500-800 photos! Soooo many photos! The best!


Q: How soon should I book my photographer?

A: We take on a limited number of weddings per year and our schedule fills up quickly so be sure to inquire as soon as you know your wedding date!


Q: Do we get printing rights?

A: Yep! Printing rights are released when the gallery is delivered.


Q: Can I see a full gallery?

A: Absolutely! Just ask and we’ll send one over for you to peruse.


Q: How would you describe your work?

A: Soft, timeless, dreamy, honest, colorful, and film-esque are a few words that come to mind!


Q: Benefits of an engagement session?

A: Beautiful, everyday photos that feature you and your boo in your favorite outfit, frolicking in a field at sunset, getting ice cream at your favorite spot, hanging with your dog at your cute, plant-filled apartment, etc. We see engagement sessions as an opportunity to get to know and spend time with our couples before the wedding day (think of it like a double date 💫). We use the feedback we receive on your engagement photos on your wedding day for your portraits. We believe it helps you feel comfortable in front of our lens, and it gives us a framework for how to best document the two of you and the love that you share.


Q: Can we bring our pup to our engagement session?

A: YAAS! We love when animals are included at sessions :) We do suggest if they are large or easily excited that you ask a friend or family member to come and help with them.


Q: Are you insured? Do you back-up photos?

A: Yes, we have liability insurance. If your venue requires it, let us know, we are more than happy to send over proof!

Yes! We back up all images on external hard-drives and also pay for a cloud system that backs-up all our files.


Q: Should I get an album?

A: We’re biased here but yes! Timeless heirloom wedding albums are a beautiful way to remember the events of your celebration. We still revisit ours all the time ☺️ We offer this as an option for all our brides & grooms.
