Hammitt Design went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. Literally. Rachel and David flew from Ohio to Colorado to take our elopement photos in Rocky Mountain National Park. It was so much fun spending the day with them. They work seamlessly together and really put in the effort to make us comfortable while being photographed. Rachel has such a talent for guiding people effortlessly into the poses and positions to capture the perfect photo. She understands what it’s like to be in front of the camera and helps to really make the session natural, comfortable, and fun!

They understand what works and what doesn’t work to get the best shot and are so helpful in explaining step-by-step their ideas and thoughts to us in order for us to see their vision. Not only did we receive beautiful photos of our best day ever, we created such wonderful memories with all the laughter that came with Rachel and David! I cannot say enough enough about them, they are just so talented and awesome! I highly recommend to anyone who seeks timeless and beautiful photos for any event of their lives.

Rachel and David were our engagement and wedding photographers. They also shot my sister’s wedding a few years ago. I guess you can say they are like family now! We felt so at ease with them and they made our wedding day so easy. I really appreciated that they took the time to go over our wedding day timeline a few days before so that the day of everything was smooth and I didn’t have to worry about anything. When I wasn’t sure of something Rachel had recommendations, which was great because I’m an indecisive person. No detail was too small. Please, consider Hammitt Design. You won’t be disappointed!

Rachel was such an amazing photographer to work with. My husband and I found ourselves in an unfortunate situation where we had to switch photographers only two months before our wedding (very stressful). Rachel rose to the challenge and even did an engagement session with us one month before our event to show us how she liked to work, showcase her style, and give us some amazing photos in the process.

We also loved that her husband, David, came along to second shoot; they have such a great dynamic and made the whole process fun, lighthearted, and goofy (just like my husband and I like to be). We have actually become really great friends with them both and love that Rachel takes the time to make her clients feel so special!

I can not say enough about how amazing Rachel is to work with and how beautiful our pictures turned out! From the moment we met with her and her husband David in a local coffee shop to see if she would be the one to capture our wedding day for us, she put us completely at ease and really just seemed to “get” us and the style we were looking for. She was genuinely interested in us as a couple and our story and made us feel not just like customers, but like friends. The relationship they built with us is one of the reasons I believe our wedding photos were so amazing - we didn’t feel super awkward working with them; we laughed and joked and were true to ourselves and Rachel and David captured that beautifully.

I had no idea she was going to capture just as many moments as she did, but we are hugely grateful that we have so many memories to cherish for years and years to come. Not only did she take a million photos, but she personally retouched each and every one to make sure they were perfect, and they are! I am so grateful to Rachel for capturing the magic of our wedding day and look forward to working with her again to capture memories for our family.

We absolutely loved having Rachel be the photographer for our wedding! What I loved most about working with her and David was how comfortable and fun it was to spend time with them and how easy it felt to be photographed by them. We absolutely LOVE our photos and can't say enough about how happy we are to have had them shoot our wedding!!

I can't tell you thank you enough! These pictures are perfect! You did such a great job, I seriously could not be happier! I have lost count with the amount of times I have looked through them and have a new favorite each time! These pictures have reminded me just how blessed I am and how beautiful my family is. As a self conscious and critical of myself person I never love pictures of myself, however, I am 100% happy and content with all of these!  Thank you for all of the hard work that you and David put into them!

Rachel is an amazing photographer. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing maternity and/or newborn pictures. I am obsessed with our sweet little baby’s newborn pictures. She is patient with feedings and captures the sweet little moments.
