MR. + MRS. STEVISON
Jake & Julia's wedding was fun and beautiful from start to finish. They were surrounded by family and friends who laughed, prayed for, encouraged and celebrated with them the entire day.
Julia chose to get ready at her childhood home and her bridesmaids, her sister Claire, her mom Ginger and pup Charlie were all present for the festivities. Once they arrived at the venue, Julia got into her dress and her bridesmaids prayed over her before the ceremony. It brought tears to my eyes to see her dear friends care for her so well. It is also a testament to who she is: beautiful, selfless, sweet and kind.
Jake and his groomsmen got ready at the chapel and took some hilarious groomsmen photos including a series where one groomsmen stood on his shoulders (!). Definitely the most creative groomsmen portrait I've ever seen. You already know I included it in the post 😜
They said their vows at St. Clare chapel and it was a beautiful backdrop for their simple ceremony. As they entered into the covenant of marriage, it was clear they were full of joy and hope for the future and completely trusted their Savior Jesus Christ to lead them both. Julia's smile was radiant and Jake began to grin as she made her way down the aisle.
Their reception was full of donuts and dancing. They both lead Young Life and their YL friends made it one of the best dance floors I've ever been a part of. At one point Jake crowd-surfed and I'm so glad I caught it on camera #groomgoals.
Their sparkler exit was the perfect way to cap off the night and Julia gave her dad one final hug before she got into the car and waved as they drove off, together ✨
David and I loved being a part of this incredible day and we are even more excited that we get to continue to be friends with Jake & Julia here in Cincinnati. Congrats to the beautiful couple. Enjoy! 🌿
